This is my second time attending an event put on by Toronto Business Casual and I have to say it’s not your typical ‘meeting’ people event.  It is way easier!  If you are looking to network, have fun, and talk to people who are done with their 9-5 day then these events are for you. 

The last event I attended for Toronto Business Casual was held at the Czehoski, one of my favourite restaurants in the West end.  It has a lot of history and charm.  The story goes it was an old deli Czehoski that is still a fixture on Queen Street.  It still has its deli counter and the current owners light a candle in front of a picture of the past owners as a ‘ode’ to this delectable and delightful restaurant. 

The event itself was called ‘Cocktail Couture’ and the restaurant was filled with canapés, signature drinks as provided by Stolichnaya Vodka, and live tunes performed by an amazing Jazz band.  The best part about this networking group is that there is no real pressure to go and try and meet dating hopefuls.  It really is a group of people definitely share a main interest; to relax after a hard day of work.  Every Cosmo Girl needs to kick off her stilettos at the end of the day, and I highly suggest checking out TBC for upcoming events. 

Urbanites, beet root martinis, and did I mention strictly casual?  It was a treat!
